What is up with Jim Kitchen?

Category: Accessible Games

There's no accessible Monopoly game on his text-to-speech page. I just looked there. Also, why has a new version of Mock 1 come out yet? I really want more tracks! People say he has more games than he has. I've heard of one called WinSpank. Does anyone know where to find it?

winspank is on the text to speach games link on his site, and the last time I looked manopoly was there too.

He's also got a new address, apart from www.kitchensinc.net, there's now www.blindprodigy.net. They seem to be the same though.

The thing is, the guy has like 3 web addresses. The one at www.simcon.net/jkitchen is rarely updated, as far as I know, its not updated at all anymore, but it still exists, then of course theres www.kitchensinc.net, that one appears to be updated fairly often, but i didnt know about the 3rd one. As far as I know, though, the address at kitchensinc.net is the place where I found win spank and the monopoly game, did you look there?

He had to change because something about his ISP would no longer provide services or something for him. And I just looked and all the games are still there.

A good website to go to for pretty much all the accessable games is www.audiogames.net

Well, i'm a verry good friend of Jim Kitchen. The truth is that he got tired of the internet so, he decided to give up the internet. I've talked with him on the phone and he has a friend to get his new games on the kitchensinc.net website. That's what's up with Jim Kitchen.

From,
Brandon Misch

Is he? Cool! I thought you said he was sick of the net though? Caitlin

Post 12 by bmisch (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 26-Dec-2004 19:55:44

he is but, he has ways of getting games on the kitchensinc.net address.

Post 13 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 26-Dec-2004 20:13:11

Cool cool. So why is he so mad at the Internet, did he have a bad experience, or do you know? I mean, if you don't want to say that's more than understandable, but if it's public knowledge, would you tell us? Caitlin

Post 14 by bmisch (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 26-Dec-2004 20:31:15

Well, he just kept getting so many e-mails and he was on dial-up so back in may, he decided to get rid of the internet.

Gosh that's harsh! Man! Good thing I never E-Mailed him, I almost did at one point, to say I liked his games. But somehow I never did. Phewph! Wouldn't have wanted to contribute to this...

kitchensinc.net redirects to the third mentioned, which is Joshua Grif-whatever's site I believe. simcon.net/jkitchen is nonexistent, that was hosted on his ISP of which he is no longer a member. I thought he also couldn't pay for the internet.

lol I like his games since they are all freeware and are creative. But the sound cality is not good for me... I mean PB-games's sound cality is much better compared to his. But well what would I expect from freeware games? Lou

Just an FYI: I am Joshua Griffith and I manage the blindprodigy.net domain. Due to some issues with hi provider, Jim Kitchen no longer updates his simplyconnect.net address. His KitchensInc.net address is a redirection address and you get forwarded to my domain. Sorry for the confusion.

I feel really badly now, as I was one of the people who used to Email him. I hope i wasn't bothering him, but I liked his games so much and wanted to tell him so.

Post 21 by Dave_H (the boringest guy you'll ever know) on Sunday, 24-Apr-2005 16:32:14

I, too, like Jim Kitchen's games, and wrote him to let him know. His new game, Skunk, is cute; I have yet to beat the bot:).

Post 22 by JGriffith (I'm a grain of sand on a beach of insanity.) on Saturday, 14-May-2005 9:13:08

Look bottom line is that Jim Kitchen LIKES people emailing him to tell him that he or she likes his games. The issue with email was not user feedback, it was outlook express and spam (IE: junk mail). If you don't believe me call him at (440) 286-6920 and ask him. Who ever said that Jim Kitchen quit the internet because of user feedback is either is mis-informed or simply did not bother to check with him first. If you don't believe me, call him and see if I am not telling the truth.

So far as his football game goes; it is now available.
